We are committed to helping the next crop of legal experts grow. Our pupillage program gives budding barristers a chance to get real-world experience, sharpen their abilities, and lay the groundwork for a thriving career in law.

  • Comprehensive Training: Our pupillage program is designed to provide you with a well-rounded experience. You will work closely with experienced barristers, gaining insights into various areas of law and honing your advocacy skills.

    Mentorship: Each pupil is paired with a dedicated mentor who will guide you through your pupillage, offering support, feedback, and advice. Our mentors are committed to helping you achieve your full potential.

    Practical Experience: You will have the opportunity to participate in real cases, attend court proceedings, and assist in the preparation of legal documents. This hands-on experience is invaluable in developing your practical legal skills.

    Professional Development: We encourage continuous learning and development. Pupils are provided with opportunities to attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance their knowledge and skills.

    Supportive Environment: We foster a collaborative and supportive environment where pupils can thrive. You will be part of a team that values diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect.

  • We welcome applications from individuals who fulfill the following requirements:

    Completion of Legal Education: Candidates must have completed their legal education at an accredited institution, typically holding a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.

    Professional Training: Successful completion of the Ghana School of Law's two-year professional law program.

    National Service Requirement: Completion of the mandatory one year of National Service.

    Registration with the General Legal Council: Candidates must have registered with the GLC, which is a part of the process for admission to the Bar.

    Good Character and Professional Conduct: Candidates must demonstrate good character and adhere to professional conduct requirements as set by the General Legal Council.

  • Please fill and submit the pupillage application form below to apply for our pupillage program. The underlisted documents will be required for uploading during the application process:

    • A current CV
    • A cover letter detailing your interest in pupillage at Osad Legal Services and why you wish to join us
    • Supporting Documents, including academic transcripts, certificates (LLB and B.L. from Ghana School of Law), two reference letters, and any awards or distinctions.

    Applications are accepted from September 1st to 31st October, of each year.

About

Abena Oduro Osae is an ambitious and dedicated legal professional, currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Tax Law, Policy, and Practice at the University of Ghana. With a strong academic background, including a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Ghana and a B.L. Certificate from the Ghana School of Law, she has gained extensive knowledge in areas such as tax policy, civil and criminal procedure, company law, and alternative dispute resolution.

Abena has valuable hands-on experience through internships at the Adentan High Court and Bram-Larbi, Beecham & Co., where she assisted in legal research, drafting of legal documents, and attended court proceedings. Her meticulous attention to detail, combined with a solid foundation in legal research and writing, makes her well-prepared for the demands of a legal career.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Abena has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, thriving in both independent and collaborative environments. She brings strong organizational and communication skills, an ability to manage sensitive information, and a passion for learning and growth in the legal field.

Abena is eager to contribute her skills to a law firm through pupillage, with a particular interest in tax law and litigation, while continuing to develop her expertise in the legal profession..
