Dr. Eric Oduro Osae is a highly accomplished legal and governance expert with an impressive academic and professional background. A product of the prestigious Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon, Dr. Osae went on to earn his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degrees, as well as a Barrister at Law (BL) certificate from the Ghana School of Law.

Furthering his education, Dr. Osae holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of London, a Master's degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Economy. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, underscoring his deep expertise across multiple disciplines.

With over 23 years of experience in legal research, good governance, and public service, Dr. Osae has established himself as a highly respected figure in the Ghanaian and African legal landscape. He previously served as the Head of Finance and Accounts at the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS) for over a decade, before being appointed as the founding Dean of the Faculty of Local Government Administration.

In addition to his academic and leadership roles, Dr. Osae has made significant contributions to various committees and advisory bodies. He currently chairs the Audit Committees of several prestigious institutions, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, the University of Ghana, Legon, and the Cyber Security Authority. He has also served as a consultant to the Judicial Service of Ghana, contributing to a study on the state of district and circuit courts in the country.

Dr. Osae's expertise and reputation have earned him numerous accolades and appointments, including his selection as a member of the Eminent Advisory Committee for the Electoral Commission of Ghana during the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections. His impressive body of publications, spanning over 90 papers on topics ranging from public sector accounting to corporate governance, further solidifies his standing as a leading authority in his field.
